Information about the NRHS may be obtained from our National Headquarters in Philadelphia. Interviews with the President, Officers, etc may also be arranged. Mr. James P. Andrisen our Vice-President for Public relations whose duties include interfacing with the media and press, advertising, and membership development. Members of the media may reach Mr. James P. Andrisen through our National Headquarters in Philadelphia or by using our e-mail form and choosing "Public Relations" as the subject.

For local Chapter information, you may wish to use our Chapter Directory as well.

Press inquiries must include your daytime phone number and the name of the press or media outlet for which you are working. We may request credentials as well.

March 18, 2003 - The NRHS is greatly saddened to announce the passing of NRHS Vice of NRHS Vice President Robert A. Pinsky. Official Press Release.

March 6, 2003 - The NRHS is pleased to reaffirm that the joint NRHS-R&LHS convention in Baltimore will continue as planned.

January 20, 2003
- The NRHS is pleased to announce it's 2003 Railway Heritage Grants Program. An Official Press Release is also available.

January 5, 2003 - The NRHS in 2002 sponsored several photography sessions where young rail photographers were taught proper rail photography techniques and given first-hand trackside experience. One such event in Topeka, Kansas was the subject of a local newspaper story.

December 24, 2002 - The NRHS is pleased to announce that RailCamp 2003 will be held.
We are expecting several Chapters to offer scholarships again this year and would appreciate the media's cooperation in promoting this educational, non-profit event for high-school students. For additional information, please see the RailCamp web site.

December 24, 2002 - As indiciated in our previous announcement, the NRHS has begun an aggressive and comprehensive campaign of outreach to the public, membership development, and education. A few of our upcoming advertisements are listed below:

Nov. 3 , 2002 - The National Railway Historical Society is pleased to announce the selection of our new Vice President of Public Relations, Mr. James P. Andrisen. Mr. Andrisen who has been serving as our advertising coordinator for over a year, expects to begin an aggressive campaign of outreach to the public.

July 1, 2002 - Announcement of the 2002 Winners of the NRHS Railway Heritage Grants Program.
