Banquet

The annual convention banquet was held on Friday July 2, 2004 and was attended by several hundred guests. A choice of Fillet of Salmmon, Roast Beef and Florentine Ravioli were offered. Salad, rolls and a snadflower torte were also served. Social hour was held from 6-7pm followed by dinner at 7.

Bill Herzog, President of the Northstar Chapter, made some introductory remarks. Dan Meyer, Convention Chairman, followed by thanks to the many people that made the COnvention possible. Greg Molloy followed with an introduction of the officers in attendance and again thanked those involved in Convention planning and operations.

Mr. Andrew Selden, Esq. gave an interesting talk about how Amtrak can change its business tactics to get better results. Mr. Selden is an attorney and President of the Minnesota Association of Railroad Passengers and a passenger train advocate. All in attendance enjoyed the meal and interesting presentation.
